The Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF) is designed for individuals involved in fire safety management or those working in environments where fire hazards are present.
Learners completing this qualification will recognise that fire safety is a shared responsibility. They will also gain a solid understanding of fire causes, common hazards, and the process of conducting fire risk assessments. This course is suitable for those currently in a fire safety role or individuals preparing to enter a related position.
Who Should Attend?
The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) qualification is intended for individuals with specific fire safety responsibilities in the workplace, such as designated fire wardens or fire marshals.
Course Overview
This comprehensive 1-day course will equip learners with essential knowledge and skills in fire safety, covering topics such as the causes of fire, the associated risks, fire safety management principles in the workplace, and the role of a fire warden.
For a more in-depth understanding, the course will cover a range of fire safety topics, ensuring learners are fully prepared to manage fire risks effectively in the workplace.
Location:
- The course is available at our training centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, or it can be delivered on-site at your workplace for groups of up to 12 delegates.
Assessment Method
- One 30-question multiple-choice exam (Theory assessment)
Certification
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) Certificate. The certificate will be issued promptly once results are submitted, subject to the Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions. Printed certificates are available for an additional fee.
